Star Bets is a picking oncourse competition spread over a 10 week period

• Entry fee $5 entry
• No limit on the number of entries person
• Entrants to select one dog in the 4 designated races at the AGRC meeting
• Entries, on official entry form only, to be lodged in a Competition Bin on race day. Standardized closing time for entries is 2.00pm. If you are not attending the race meeting entries can be texted to 021-255-9666
• Points to be allocated based on a $1 each way investment on the totalizator (not Fixed Odds)

Examples      Blazin’Master            W $4.80   P $1.50    6.3 points

                        El Padrino                 W $41.20 P $4.80    46  points

• No allowance for any dog scratched (Standard or late) from the race
• Placings based on Judges placings at payout. No provision for disqualifications
• Full points table to displayed weekly in the Greyhound Lounge

• Prizes to be allocated to the  entrant based on highest point total. 

STARBETS Weekly Prize

$20 to the highest points scorer each week, in case of identical points $20 shared by winners

STARBETS Overall Competition

Prizes to be allocated based on highest point total for the 10-week period.

• First                        $300
• Second                  $150
• Third                       $50

• It is a condition of entry that any breach of any of the Competition Conditions will deem that entry invalid.
• Employees of the Auckland GRC are not eligible to enter (directly or indirectly) this Competition
• Note all entries are received subject to agreement that all matters relating to this competition are subject to rulings by the Board of the Auckland Greyhound Racing Club Inc
